People will never cease to amaze me. On 9-16-10 newspaper reads "10,000 Cheer (Mexico's) Independence." What Independence? The independence to live in squalor in a third world country. To be a nation with the majority of the citizens living in abject poverty. This is not the U.S. style of poverty with two televisions, a house, car, air conditioning, and a lone star card, but instead true poverty? The independence to have a corrupt government which steals all the nations wealth and forces many of it's children to become prostitutes, or drug dealers in order to survive. The socialist, tyrannical government holding it's people down. The country where citizens flee for a better life. But, perhaps the greatest irony an independence celebration which must be held in another country (U.S.) for fear of being shot to death. So many reasons to celebrate!People never cease to amaze me!
