The Secretary of Education recently stated that Hurricane Katrina was a good thing for New Orleans. It destroyed the school system which has allowed it to be rebuilt better than it was before. The National Education Agency recently remarked that the earthquake in Haiti destroyed its school system. This will allow it to be built back better than before. Liberal educators clearly agree that the way to fix the failing public education system is by hoping for and waiting on a natural disaster to occur.
