City Government

Today I heard my dogs barking and I looked outside. There was a dog (stray) in my front yard. This is about the fifth time that dogs have come up on my property. Some have defecated on my yard as I have one of the last grass lawns. My neighbors are attempting to save the planet by having rock yards. I telephoned animal control. The call was switched to the police department. I thought I was in trouble for calling the police on a non emergency call. Afraid of my government. I explained the problem and they tried to contact animal control but were unsuccessful. An hour, or an hour and a half later I received no response. I then called back. Police department again. No contact with animal control. I then called my City Representative. Not in. I was told he would call me back. Then I called the mayor. He was in a meeting. Told he would call back. Then I called the City Manager. She was in a meeting and would call me back. No calls back. I called animal control again. No answer. The police could not contact them. One hour later I called everyone back. City representative, mayor, and city manager. I was told they would call me back. The mayor's secretary had the attitude that she could care less. The city representative's secretary said he would call back. Four hours later no call. The City Manager's secretary said she would call me back. I asked when. She told me initially she was in back to back meetings for the next two weeks. Later she told me she was in back to back meetings through December. I asked if she would call me in January. I then told her that I plan to write about this. She asked if I was a reporter. I told her no , but that I was a writer. She refused to answer when the manager would call me. She told me that a Kirk Fenspemacher, assistant manager would call me. I told her I still wanted to talk to the city manager so I could inform her that the city is not working. She still refused to tell me if the manager would call me in January, however she did indicate that she would call me eventually. I received a call from animal control and they told me they would send someone out to cite the owner. I would have to testify in court. I said fine. Kirt called me, and while I was talking to him animal control showed up. Approximately four and a half or five hours later. The man told me he would leave a note on the owner of the dogs door. I told him that his boss said something different. The responding officer then said he would make a report, and patrol the area. Kirk who was friendly and polite told me that if the call was a vicious dog, or a dog at a school the response would be immediately and overwhelming. This is my interpretation of what he said: If I have chest pains an ambulance would be there sometime. If I was in cardiac arrest they would be there right now. If a man is in my front yard waving a gun the police would be there sometime. If he was actually shooting someone the police would be there right away. If I have a minor fire the fire department will be there sometime. If the house is fully engulfed and my family is trapped inside they will be there right away. Not good enough. Either provide a competent service or get out of the business. Don't raise false hopes of service. I swear if they do not handle the problem I will telephone Michael Vick.

Ok, A baseball cap is designed with a sun visor. The visor blocks the sun from a person's eyes. It is not an ear visor. Clue! there is only one visor. If it were an ear visor there would be two in order to block the sun from both ears. Now you may want to continue wearing your cap as an ear visor, and that will make you as cool as him.

Political Correctness

Why is education failing? One reason is that teachers are burdened with an overwhelming amount of paperwork. This detracts from their teaching. An additional problem is political correctness compliance. The flavor of the month is bullying. The government is sending money to schools in order to combat it. When you hear it described it appears that bullying is as pervasive, and widespread as the plague was in Europe during the dark ages. This is not true. Some bullying is going on, but it is not as devastating as portrayed. We teach children to be weak, fragile, victims. There are already mechanisms ( school rules and criminal laws) in place to deal with it.

A new P.C. issue is coming to schools near you. Let's see how many egg-head educators address this problem. Today a P.C. expert has indicated that homework should be done on colored paper as white paper may be racist.

In this liberal welfare utopia of El Paso, how bad do you have to be for the people to turn against a fellow socialist? This January there will be a recall election against Mayor Kook, Suzie Byrdbrain, and Steve "Stalin" Ortega. The three are every bit the Stalinist that Barrack Hussein Obama is. Hopefully the citizens will prevail and these three will be sent into retirement.

Palestinian Homeland

I have a solution for the Palestinians. They want a homeland. Leave Israel alone. Israel took a tiny sliver of desert land; grew crops, homes, economy, and way of life. They earned their little country. The Palestinians should look to their brothers for a homeland. Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Syria should give their brothers a homeland. Is it possible these countries don't want them for neighbors? Remember sharing is caring.

Enough is Enough!

It is time we pass a law designating English as the official language of government. I am tired of people coming to this country and disrespecting us by refusing to learn English. Without the knowledge of English they become a drag, and burden on our society. These people come here because we are the greatest nation ever to have existed on the face of the earth. If these people have a desire to come here for greater opportunity, and freedom they have certain responsibilities to fulfill. One of the initial responsibilities is to learn our language. We have people who have lived here years and even decades, and yet they cannot speak, or refuse to speak English. What's up with that? I will tell you it is two things: laziness, and lack of respect toward this generous nation. Liberal lunatics who wish to shield these non-English speakers from the harsh reality of needing to know English are doing them a dis-service. Life is harsh on occasion, and it is time these do good enablers realize they are harming these people. You cannot have a successful life in the United States without knowing English. If we truly want to assist these individuals we should insist that within two years English Language is acquired. Now don't get me wrong. The more languages a person knows the better off they are. If you live here English better be one of them.

Taxpayers should not have to spend millions dollars annually to print publications in multiple languages. Is this mean, evil, heartless? If it is then I am not alone. Research whether Mexico, Honduras, Panama, Columbia, Brazil, Ecuador, Cuba, and the vast majority of nations around the world would accommodate them. If you wish to communicate with them you better become familiar with their language because they will not wet nurse you.

Thought for the day

I have discovered a correlation between the following. It is not scientific, but sufficient anecdotal evidence exist to substantiate my findings. I have yet to find an exception to my two rules.

Rule #1: The lower a person's pants are worn the lower the person's intelligence quotient is. A person 12, 15, or even 25 who can't dress himself has a problem.

Rule #2 If you spray paint another person's property it is no different than a dog marking his territory. Same thought process.

Too Blind to See!

The only really stupid people among us are those who refuse to learn. People so closed minded that they will not listen to anything contrary to their programming. Many people now-a-days resist learning. "It's a hassle, too much trouble, I'm too busy." If a person is not learning something new everyday, well then they are just not paying attention. If people don't begin to educate themselves about the goings on in Washington, they may awake one day to find themselves subjects of a tyrannical government. With the current regime we are moving in that direction at a rapid pace.

Nation in decline!

Experts ( liberal art professors) at the University of Texas at El Paso met to discuss hate crimes. They met with young heads full of mush (students) and other concerned citizens (liberals). It is these kind of people (nuts) that have put us in decline. These people are charged with training future generations to become productive members of society. Not likely as these professors are jokes themselves. Political correctness requires them to ask for hate crime laws. Polikal crtness mak u stoopid! The discussion centered on hate against Hispanics, African Americans, and members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. What if someone hates a white guy or gal, does that count? My God! I just realized they forgot people who love farm animals and small children. What if someone hates them. As I read the story I wondered did these people say all these stupid things or did the person writing the article quote them inaccurately? Wait I was just scanning the article and they threw women in, but they still left goat lovers and pedophiles out. Not very inclusive UTEP. According to them here is why we need hate crime laws. There was cruelty inflicted on African-Americans from the 1800's to the 1960's. Problem solved as that was over fifty years ago. Do we need a law to cover something that by the admission of the Chicano Studies Professor at UTEP ended in the 1960's? Recently after the September 11 attacks, a religious group was discriminated against because of their clothing. Men who wore turbans were targeted. (kind of general huh!). Question, how were they discriminated against?
"Within the LGBT community, attacks against gay men tend to be higher while lesbians tend to be raped more." Who is raping them? Other lesbians? White men? How often? What the hell are you talking about you nutty professor.
In 2010, three hate crimes were reported in El Paso, three! Two of these were gay... "and the only way to eradicate this cycle is to eradicate racism within the United States." Gays are now a race? In 1969 the Journal of Psychiatric Medicine identified homosexuality as a mental illness. Later it was called a civil rights problem, of which it is not. A black man can't change his color, however numerous gays have gone straight. Choice not a civil rights issue. Now it appears to be a race issue. "Another way to eradicate this problem is to tell your children that gay and lesbian conduct is fine before the child enters school." Two years ago, five gay men had an unpleasant experience. What! Unpleasant experiences are hate crimes now. Two of them were kissing inside of a restaurant, in front of the other patrons, and they were thrown out. More recently a man was beaten outside a gay bar, and this sparked controversy over whether the attack was a hate crime. Now herein lies the rub. This attack outside the bar may, or may not have been directed toward the person because he was thought to be gay. The police investigation ruled it just regular hate and not a hate crime. Without looking into the assailants heads how the hell do you know. Question: what if you make a mistake while reading the criminals mind. How would you feel if the poor miscreant was punished more harshly because you read his mind wrong? How would you feel? These same jackasses that are proponents of hate crime laws are the same one's that protest , and claim that all the people in prisons are innocent. The exact same liberal fools. Now this is how it works. Hate crimes mandate harsher punishments. Note: all violent crimes are hate based. Criminals do not hurt people because they love them. You do not kick the hell out of another person in a bar fight because you love him. Criminals do not shoot policemen because they have a love for peace officers. There are already penalties for these offenses. In Texas if you kill someone we will kill you back. Now in order to punish a murderer who also commits a hate crime must we execute, resuscitate, and re-execute him? What if we read his mind incorrectly and we kill him twice for nothing. What if he hated the person, but not because he was a minority or gay, he just plain hated him. What if?
We routinely release people from jail and prison far ahead of the time for which they were sentenced. I arrested a man in the 1970s for murder. He was sentenced to 90 years in prison. Eleven years later I arrested him for burglary. Instead of reading their minds simply put them in jail for the period of time to which they are sentenced. That will teach them. Trust me all crimes which these wing nuts are complaining about are already covered. Assault, rape, murder, you name it we got it covered.

I truly believe this. It is racism to make a white persons assault or murder less important than some other group. Think about it. In my opinion these people simply want to stir up racial, and gay tensions. Racism and sexism are cottage industries in the United States. Race baiters like Al Sharpton, Jessse Jackson, and evidently college professors make their living this way. Their motto should be ... Keep Hate Alive.... I need a job! Please understand me. No person I repeat no person should be subjected to harassment, threats, assault, rape, murder, or any other crime. All people should be equally protected. We have laws for that now. Plenty of them.

SCARY

My intent in this writing is not condemnation, but instead an encouragement toward fulfilling ones duties as a responsible citizen.
I have worked in the field of education for the past decade. I have come to the sad realization that when it comes to politics, educators are clueless. As with everything there are exceptions to each and every rule. I know a handful of teachers who possess a mastery of the discipline. The vast, vast majority are completely totally naive, ill-educated, and damn near hopelessly illiterate, politically speaking.
I respect and admire teachers. They are some of my favorite people. That said, they scare the hell out of me. I truly fear for our nation. Teachers are presumed to be the educated among us. I believe I could locate bums on the street corner (sorry not bums, I mean homeless people) that understand politics better. Now if the educated among us are clueless, and easily confused what is going on inside the heads of the un-educated. There is little doubt liberal propaganda espoused by education unions have worsened the situation.
People please educate yourselves. Do not tune to CNN (Communist network news), or MSNBC (Obama's media outlet). Expose your mind to other information. Listen to alternative sources of information then make your decision. Search the Internet, tune into talk radio, read the National Review, check out Fox News. View something that will give you another perspective. Expand your sources of information as this is the only true way to make informed decisions.
Why am I scared? We citizens are allowing government to expand to a point in which we will no longer be able to control it. Soon government will control us. " The government that can do everything for you can take everything from you." Abe Lincoln.
Please do not take my word for it. When you have a question about something research it. Same problem we experience with junk science. Someone makes a claim and we all accept it as gospel without checking it out, or RESEARCHING it.
I will give you an example:
The federal government spent a trillion dollars to create jobs. It created none. Now they propose to spend a half trillion dollars the same way. It will create no jobs. The majority of the money would be used, as in the first one, to pay public unions back for their support of Obama. The slogan is "put teachers back in the classrooms where they belong." Cute, and catchy huh? Police, fire, and teachers will be rolling in the dough for a period of time. Until the money runs out, and Obama has bought enough votes to get re-elected. After that the excrement will hit the fan. The increased taxing to pay for all of this spending will be used to continue the government operations, pay for Obamacare (trillions), and the additional trillions that we currently owe.
Now for the teachers bemoaning the recent budget cuts from the state, and the increase in classroom size consider this. When all of the above happens, and it surly will, hang on! The teacher population may be reduced by half. Entire schools might be forced to close. If un-employment is high ( or worsens as predicted), and tax revenue continues to be low (fewer people working to pay), guess what. No money= fewer teachers, policemen, and firemen.
Now is what I stated true? Wouldn't it be nice to know for positive?
Here's a second example:
No Child Left Behind legislation was not written by the evil George W. Bush. The legislation was in fact written by two liberal democrats, Ted Kennedy D-Mass, and George Miller D- Calif. Obama has made no attempt to repeal it. Education Secretary Duncan has stated that it may need a little tweaking. He has not asked that it be scrapped, why? Because they both know who wrote it!
I do have advice for those who refuse to educate themselves, or just do not care. Do not vote! You will only screw things up worse!

NFL's New Kickoff Rule

It is true that a significant number of serious injuries sustained in the NFL occur during kickoff returns. After watching the preseason games and what has been shown of the regular season games a considerable amount of excitement has been lost. I would say they are about 20% less exciting. The feminization of America has finally reached the NFL in significant ways.

Over the years, I have noted that a good number of serious injuries occur while tackling people. I believe we should stop it. Head injuries, neck injuries, shoulder injuries, and leg injuries happen when players attempt to stop these big, strong, tough running backs. Injuries continue to be inflicted on quarterbacks when players attempt to tackle them. STOP THE VIOLENCE! I can think of at least one more change that should be made. No more blocking. I can't tell you how many shoulder and knee injuries have occurred during the course of blocking for a teammate.

In today's society something that can be just as debilitating as a physical injury is the mental anguish of score keeping. Identifying winners and losers. What type of psychological injury are we inflicting upon our players not to mention their fans. When need to stop the damn score keeping immediately.

When the series of downs for one team is completed, and it is time for the other team to take over I suggest we just spot the ball on the 50 yard line. Eliminate the risk of injury during punt attempts. No more punting. How many times have we seen players hit defenseless punters (running into the punter incidents). If we have no kickoff, no punting, no tackling, no blocking, and no score keeping the players should be relatively safe.

There is one additional safety measure I believe should be implemented. They need new protective clothing. Something similar to what I have shown above. With this new protective gear I believe if a player accidentally fell down he would simply bounce right back up.

In the Giants vs Redskins game I just witnessed a Giants player injure himself while running for a pass. No contact. No more running. Just walk your route.

Obama has his own economic theory. His first stimulus, one trillion was to big (produced no jobs), The current proposal is five-hundred billion ( half of the previous) which will be too small (will produce no jobs), so the next one should be just right!

Presidential Debate

I watched the presidential debates last night, and one thing was abundantly clear. Any of the candidates would be a much better president than the one we have.
Perry is really starting to impress me. He has firm conviction, is conservative, and he says what he thinks.
Huntsman is the only one I really don't like. He has that little whiny moderate tone. He is the I am for everything, anything, and everybody kind of guy. He is the Washington establishment candidate. That is a strike against him in my book. He has a smarmy personality. I just don't like him. With that said I reiterate any of the candidates would be a much better president than the one we have.

Great Moderates in History

Where have all the great moderates in history gone? I checked out a book from the library the other day. It was entitled Great Moderates in History. The pages were blank. I had to think back in history in order to find examples. Chamberlain prior to World War ll. He was a moderate appeaser. That is not great. Wait what about the drafters of the constitution? No they they stood for something. What about the U.S. military in it's defeat of the Japanese, and the Japaneses unconditional surrender. No not any compromise there. I guess there are just no great moderates.

Moderates are tacticians. They drift from side to side and are not guided by any core values or principles. The kitten represents the moderate. The lion represents individuals with conviction and character.

Life Politics

Politics is not only democrats and republicans. Politics affects our jobs, economy, and even our interpersonal interactions. Who is the boss's favorite. Who in the organization is favored to receive the next promotion, etc.

Our national politics will soon decide our future standard of living. It will limit our individual rights and freedoms, or it may back off from it's recent encroachments.

Do you know people who claim not to care about politics? What do these people talk about? American Idol, Michael Jackson, Coolio, Lady Gaga or some other pop culture junk. Something that matters zilch. Since politics touches almost every aspect it would behoove intelligent people to at a minimum pay attention.

Some people sit around and let things happen. Others make things happen. If you have no clue what is happening, which one would you be?

What will fix the economy?

What will stimulate the economy? More unemployment insurance payouts? What about a one thousand dollar tax rebate over twelve months? Not enough to stimulate the consumer side of the equation. How about direct aid to cities and states? The aid will temporarily retain jobs (until the money runs out), but it will create almost none. Will infrastructure jobs such as road repairs, bridge repairs, or railroads help? Only until the money runs out, in approximately one year. There would be some modest improvement in the unemployment numbers, however the economy would ultimately be worse off with additional deficit spending. The aforementioned is roughly what Obama's plan will be. The estimated cost will be approximately 300 billion dollars. Obama's plan will not work.

The following will work: Rewrite the tax code so as every citizen will contribute something. Currently over 40% of American citizens do not pay any income tax what-so-ever. Simplify the code and cut out the loopholes. Lower corporate tax rates so as to stir investment. Eliminate capitol investment rates encouraging companies to repatriate monies invested outside the country. Modify entitlements ensuring they will be around for future generations. Over one third of the total federal budget goes to these entitlement programs. Retirement programs will eventually go bankrupt also. The postal service, and some municipalities currently cannot pay their retirement obligations. Lower the federal workforce (mainly through attrition). Repeal Obama care and the exorbitant cost imposed by it upon businesses. Open up oil exploration and drilling. Cut the hell out of crushing and costly regulations (unnecessary regulations cost business trillions of dollars, yes trillions). How many jobs would that produce? I mean cut them by 90%. The majority of these regulations are of no value to the American citizen. This I guarantee would fix the economy. Certainly there are other workable solutions which should be explored and implemented. The economy is fixable.

Now, if I can know what would absolutely fix the economy you have to ask the question, WHY DOESN'T OBAMA?

Learn something new every day!

I recently spoke with an old man that I had seen around the golf course.
I had only one previous conversation with him. It ended with me telling him that some people (he) was too stupid to explain anything to. He was spouting the moronic democrat talking points as to how social security and medicare are fine. Then he continued that the republicans want to destroy, or take these benefits away from the old and the poor. This most recent meeting was much more pleasant. We talked golf. He continually spoke of Arnold Palmer. He had some Palmer golf clubs. He had told his wife that he wanted to be buried with one of them. He re-thought it and opted to be buried with an Arnold Palmer lapel pin of which he had several. He continued on that he sends Palmer a birthday card every year. I told him that I am waiting for famous people to send me birthday cards.
It struck me at that point how much liberals are into idol worship. You can see it almost across the board with them. I have met a number of famous, important, wealthy people. Never have I fixated on them, nor did I feel them to be superior to me. Possibly when I was young I envied some of them and was jealous of them.
You see this theme play out time and again. Whether it be with movie stars, reality show subjects, singers, vampires, Obama, or other celebrities. What's up with these people? Do they consider their lives to be meaningless. Do they not feel they have any value at all? Do they not believe in God, so they look to these idols to have what they consider a superior power in their lives?
I am not even sure how to identify this type of personality. Perhaps you can help me identify this affliction. All I can come up with is the following:
submissive personality
inferiorty complex
addictive personality
childlike personality
lack of self-confidence
lack of self-worth
lack of self-esteem
What the hell is the deal with these people?

Obama's Detroit Gang

Today Obama will be repeating his same old tired ideas of expanding the government to create jobs. That and more government spending. More road and bridge jobs. We already paid for that. Remember when you got your vehicle registration. Remember when you paid your tax on the gasoline you purchased? He wants to extent unemployment insurance. People will do what you pay them to do. If you pay them not to work, guess what? It didn't work the first three times, but I am sure it will this time.

This is not what caught my attention. The opening act before the Bamster (Obama) came on stage was Jimmy Hoffa Jr. Son of the scum bag criminal union boss Jimmy Hoffa. The one that disappeared by crossing the wrong Mafioso.
Jimmy Hoffa Jr. while ranting and raving about how his union thugs were underpaid and mistreated went on to call the Tea Party sons a bitches. His exact quote is "Let's take these sons of bitches out!" Sorta of like what someone did to his daddy. Well let us examine the Tea Party's positions and see if they deserve this kind of vitriol. (Obama's people are very classy)
The Tea Party is a grass roots organization which stands for the following:

limited federal government
individual freedoms
personal responsibility
free markets
returning political power to the states and the people

Imagine those sons a bitches having such lofty goals in the United States of America. Damn them!

Not a total failure

Public education has failed in it's primary responsibility to educate our children. However, it has not been a total failure.

It has been effective in warehousing our children (babysitting) albeit a very expensive babysitter.

It has proven to be an effective soup kitchen with the free breakfast and lunch programs.

It is an effective employer, as a large number of adults are employed in the field of education.

It has been effective in spreading liberal philosophies, such as man-made global warming, radical environmentalism, and dependency.
